Just a bit of me

Well, my name is Nancy and I am 24 and live in Utah. I guess I am new to the blogging scene but have been journaling for years. Right now I am in the process of a divorce, which I am sure I will blog about later for those who care to learn more about me. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Northern Arizona University.
I have come to realize from my little time here on the planet Earth that life is too short to waste on things that you are not passionate about. There are a few things that I am passionate about in my life currently, I love photography, being able to capture those moments in life that really matter is something I love to do. I also enjoy reading, mostly mystery books but something about them make me happy. Family is something also important to me. I would do anything for the people close to me in my life. Although my life is by no means perfect I can say with confidence that it is my family that keeps me going everyday. I have two brothers, Martin and Michael that I am very close to and three half sisters Mary, Margie, and Mandy, I am sad to say that my sisters and I are not close at all. In the past I made an attempt to get to know them because I did not get the chance to grow up with them. But, it did not work out as intended and we lost contact.
I have a cat named Tyrone who is the love of my life. He can be a huge pain in the butt sometimes. Just this morning I discovered that he decided to pee on my laundry. He does this from time to time, I am not sure if he does it unintentionally or if he does it for attention. I hope to bring him into the vet when I can get money to take him to see why he is doing this. On the other hand, he is the biggest lover. I know when I get home from a long day, that he will be right there at t he door waiting to greet me when I walk in. He sleeps with me every night, and has been doing so since he was a kitten. My favorite thing about my cat is that he likes to give kisses. He will stick his little nose right up to your mouth and wit for a kiss on the nose. He has quite the personality and is my little shadow when I am home. If i go walk into the kitchen or my bedroom he will always get up and go with me just to see what I am doing and make sure everything is ok.
